Hola I'm Nayeli, your therapist.
I am a bilingual, and bicultural licensed clinical social worker based in Burbank, California. I am the founder of Healing con Ganas Therapy. I center my work on first generation women and moms. I also specialize in providing immigration mental health evaluations for folks working towards obtaining legal status in the U.S.
I believe in the importance of culture and the need to cherish it. Therefore, I encourage my clients to be themselves at every point of their healing process.
Feeling stressed, anxious, or lost?
Many of us carry invisible weight, the pressure to succeed, the guilt of leaving loved ones behind, and the silence about our own pain. We show up for everyone else, yet often feel nervous, unsure, and disconnected from our own confidence. In therapy, this often looks like people who are afraid to speak, afraid to take up space, or afraid to believe they belong.

Healing the Community
Before founding Healing con Ganas, Nayeli Pérez, LCSW, helped create Giving Back to Social Workers, a grassroots initiative built to uplift, support, and celebrate the professionals who dedicate their lives to helping others.
Through the organization’s Facebook and Instagram platforms, Nayeli and her team organized donation drives, shared mental health resources, and created spaces for social workers to connect, rest, and remind themselves that their work matters too. The group became a community of care, where encouragement replaced burnout and connection replaced isolation.
Although Giving Back to Social Workers is no longer active, its spirit continues through Nayeli’s work today. Every session, workshop, and collaboration at Healing con Ganas reflects her ongoing mission to give back to her community, advocate for mental health accessibility, and remind others that healing grows stronger when we do it together.
